The Vinton Lutheran Home is located on the southeast side of Vinton at 1301 2nd Avenue. The Campus consists of a Nursing Facility licensed for 61 beds; 13 beds are in a specially licensed Alzheimer’s Unit. All 61 beds are Medicare (skilled) certified – which allows residents who qualify to utilize their Medicare benefits.
Connected to the Nursing Facility is our Assisted Living Apartments. We have 18 apartments featuring, 7 one bedroom, 8 one bedroom deluxe and 3 two bedrooms. These apartments are designed for seniors who need minimal assistance and support.
For those seniors who desire a more independent style of living, we have 16 units (8 buildings) of Duplex Town Homes. The Town Homes are located across the street to the east of the main campus.
We also offer Respite Day Care located in the building just across the drive from our Assisted Living Apartments.
Our Outreach programs, similar to home health care, including free telephone checks are available for those individuals who would like to remain in their own home.
The Vinton Lutheran Home offers a Community Center located at the same building as the Respite Day Care. The Center is available to any Lutheran Home Campus resident or employee, and the community if not being used by one of our residents.
