The Vinton Lutheran Home is located on the southeast side of Vinton at 1301 2nd Avenue. The Campus consists of a Nursing Facility licensed for 61 beds; 13 beds are in a specially licensed Alzheimer’s Unit. All 61 beds are Medicare (skilled) certified – which allows residents who qualify to utilize their Medicare benefits.
Connected to the Nursing Facility is our Assisted Living Apartments. We have 18 apartments featuring, 7 one bedroom, 8 one bedroom deluxe and 3 two bedrooms. These apartments are designed for seniors who need minimal assistance and support.
For those seniors who desire a more independent style of living, we have 16 units (8 buildings) of Duplex Town Homes. The Town Homes are located across the street to the east of the main campus.
Our Community Health Accreditation Program (C.H.A.P.) certified Home Health Agency helps clients regain or retain their ability to live safely in their own home. We provide services ranging from telephone checks to Skilled (Medicare) services.
A Community Center located just across the drive from our Assisted Living Apartments. The Center is available to any Lutheran Home Campus resident/client or employee, and the surrounding community if not being used by one of our residents.
