The weariness and stress that is sometimes experienced when caring for an aging parent or physically and/or psychologically challenged loved one can be considerable. Our Respite Program was developed to provide assistance to families and caregivers with an affordable option in keeping their loved one at home.
Our structured program is provided in a Christian, home-like atmosphere that includes a wide range of services that meet the restorative and maintenance needs of those adults who experience some form of dementia, are physically or mentally slowed by strokes, or who have been injured and may need assistance during the day. Our goal is to promote independence and total wellness of each person, as well as providing assurance for the primary caregivers.
Participants have priority consideration for any Lutheran Home facility or services when the need arises.
Adults 50 and older who will benefit from the services provided are eligible for our Lutheran Home Respite Program.
