The Vinton Lutheran Home Health Agency’s overall goal is to help clients regain or retain their ability to live safely in their own home. We provide services ranging from telephone checks to Skilled (Medicare) services.
The Lutheran Home Health Agency is certified by Community Health Accreditation Program (C.H.A.P.). Medicare, Medicaid, and Wavier programs are accepted. We also serve clients with qualifying insurance plans, VA benefits and private pay. Services will be provided to patients who live within 35 miles of Vinton.
What does Skilled (Medicare) services mean? It allows our Home Health Agency to provide nursing, physical, occupational & speech therapies along with bathing assistance and bill these services to Medicare or Medicaid. Medicare Part A covers 100% of Home Health services for qualifying participants.
How does this work? If the client is participating in Medicare or Medicaid, a physician prescribes Home Health Care services and the client must meet all guidelines.
