Assisted Living:

Our Assisted Living was developed to provide assistance in an apartment setting to those individuals who find the daily tasks of life becoming more complex and burdensome. The Vinton Lutheran Home believes that if senior adults continue a normal lifestyle, much like they had all their lives, and continue to make their own choices with minimal assistance, they will continue to thrive, live with dignity and enjoy the rich opportunities life can offer. Most services are included in the monthly rental fee; however, some specialty services require an addtitional charge. All services are provided by a Home Health Care Team. These individuals are trained and qualified to promote the independence and dignity that each resident deserves. The Home Health Care Team is able to provide as much assistance as each resident desires.

We gave eighteen apartments, with three sizes to choose from. We have 7 one-bedroom; 8 one-bedroom deluxe; and 3 two-bedroom apartments. Each cozy apartment is furnished with amenities much like you would find in the comfort of your home – a stove and refrigerator as well as cable television are provided. Each apartment features individual heat and air control, fire sprinkler system and safety features throughout the apartment. In addition, a 24-hour emergency-security system is provided. Residents also have the use of a personal laundry facility within the apartment complex, and an elegantly furnished main lounge for visiting.
